This Bodum Bistro Grinder is what is known as a conical burr grinder. It has a simple on and off switch located on the side of the unit. There is a container on the top of the unit that you use to pour in the coffee beans. The grinder has a 20 second timer that is activated by a red button. You can also control how much you want to grind the beans by easily adjusting the container to the left or the right. Doing so adjusts the grinder settings. There is one other container that is located near the bottom of the unit (see the picture). This container catches the grinds once they make there way through the coffee grinder.

Clean up is extremely easy with the Bodum Bistro Coffee Grinder. To clean the grinder you will want to start with the top container which can be emptied easily. The bottom glass container can also be removed and cleaned easily without making much of a mess.
How is the Design?
The Bodum Bistro Grinder has a great design overall. Most ladies will like that they can color match this appliance to their kitchen. Color choice come in black, white, red, green, or orange. Although the bottom container is made of glass (reasons mentioned earlier), the rest of the grinder is made with plastic. That being said, the unit does have a sleek finish since it is wrapped in rubber. As to the grinders themselves, there are made out of steel.

The Bodum Bistro Coffee Grinder measures to be 7.6 x 7.1 x 12.5 inches and weighs just about five pounds. You should be able to place this on your countertop without taking up too much space.
